REGINA (SNN) -- The Regina RCMP historical case unit has confirmed the remains located during a May 5 search on the Little Black Bear First Nation were those of Amber Tara-Lynn Redman.
The Redman family has been notified and is planning funeral arrangements.
Redman, a 19-year-old from the Standing Buffalo First Nation, was last seen at a roadside bar in Fort Qu'Appelle early on the morning of July 15, 2005. Her disappearance sparked a massive search, but the case remained unsolved until her remains were found on the Little Black Bear First Nation.
