Well, from shows like all the CSIs, I already know about AFIS and CODIS but are there any other databases used in law enforcement? :)
Well, I don't know if it has to do with law enforcement, but medical care givers have a database called the National Practitioner Data Base (NPDB) that reports any and all actions taken against a provider, including malpractice cases, license issues, and adverse actions from hospitals or other health plans. It's not accessible to the public, though. You have to apply to have access to it, but I use it for my work.
