Straighten up and draw right, or close shop and safe some remote face.

You do make a fine point, but at least he's updating... Look at Game Under. They haven't even SAID anything, or acknowledged their comics existence in 6 months.

I do enjoy the current comic, but I do wish we were back with the stories.

I'm starting to think it was a bad idea to get Erik his new comp, because he skipped updates so he could set it up, then never really updated after that.

Then, after a few weeks, he starts updating, yet the artwork is kinda rushed, and the update schedule is slower.

Then, he finally gets his act together, but then he shoves it off.

As much as I hate you people who do nothing but whine about your comic, I must say, you have a point.

Get it in gear, Erik. You were doing so well, don't spoil it.

What kind of person registers for a forum and posts a complaint about a comic that someone draws out of personal enjoyment and posts for everyone else to read for free? If you don't like it, stop reading it. What, do you want your money back? All nothing that you paid?

Normally, I would agree, but he's right. Erik has been really sloppy for the past few weeks.

Yes, it's a free comic, he doesn't do it for his own benefit, but still. That doesn't mean he shouldn't update.

This guy actually has a right to be angry.

Think about it, this guy's reading the comic for a long time, then there's a four month hiatus. Then finally, Erik is back. But after a short while, he's asking for another computer, so he can update. When we give that, he asks for a short time to set it up. Then, nearly a month later, he finally updates, with sub-par artwork. But nobody complains, except this one guy. But he got what he deserved. Then another ten days with no comic...
Then he sets back the update schedule a little. Only three a week now. Nobody says a thing.
And now, after ALL of this, he simply is too lazy to update a comic that looks like it's even done.

He has every right to be pissed off.

That doesn't mean he SHOULD do this, but that's not my point.

My point is that Erik should smarten up. We've put up with it for a while now, it's time he starts showing some effort.

But at the same time, what kind of asshole posts something like that over a fucking comic?

He has every reason to be angry, and somebody had to say it, but come on! Calm the fuck down!

A simple post in the thread for the current issue, saying exactly what he did, only calmer.

Snoogy, the lack of updates and sketchy drawings don't bother me that much. It's more that he's not following up on what he says he's going to do.

And that computer thing, I think you're looking at it the wrong way. How much did people who donated give each? $20, maybe $30 bucks? Look at it as backpay.

I can understand why he would complain, but I don't think he was justified in how he complained (like you said) or most of what he complained about.

I do think Erik does need a little boot up the ass about following up on his promises though.
