Right, anyone got anygood idea`s for locations for this XMAS EXTRAVAGANZA!, i know its a longway off yet, but i would like to start looking at possible venues, so far IDEAL STANDARD,IRISH CENTRE,HARVEYS,CORNMILL anymore ideas welcome, not too exspensive but with good ALE!! it will be a family affair where parents, partners are all welcome........

How are you doing it. Is there gonna be so much per head etc etc to cover dj, food etc.

I think we need to get a couple of intrested venues first that we can all agree on, then subject to cost of hire of room etc we`ll work out price per head,k......peeps get looking!

it may not be too bad if we can get the numbers to hire a room so the under ager's can come, and not drink of course.

Well, thats the plan.....get a nice venue so all can come,...santa hats are standard issue of course!

Have you thought of botteling it, Im sure if would sell for a fair price but then you will no doubt get involved in strange terrorism acts consisting of a butterly fly and a very small bottle of teh said chemical.

yer thats a good idea chrispy. xmas is about the kids realy isn't it. I've
been there quite a bit and the burgers are top quality, as is the lasagna as a matter of fact.
i think it would be nice if we all put in a bit of loose change than get the kids a selection box or sumthing like that.

The pub in North Ferriby (my pub: the duke of cumberland) has good ale i work there so i might be able to get a discount on hte room hire and that and the staff are nice and friendly!
but theres also the wheatcheif in kirkella/willerby, not sure if it has a function room but it's a nice pub and my old manager is the boss so i could get a discount maybe there too!
s'up to you adults though i just put fowards suggestions!

Right i talked to the managers and they said it'd be fine, the price however depends on how much food we want on the buffetbecause if parents and family and friends are coming we might need alot, we do from 50 - 200 people i think
and the cheapest one starts off at £3.95 per person (so thats like a pork pie 3 sarnies and other stuff can't remember what each) room hire isn't that much but if you give me the details on how much food we want and how many people are gonna be there i can sort it out!

sounds good to me, everyone seemed in favour. as soon as we get a definite price for food, room and such then i will email out. what date are we going for?

also sam is playing a live band, is everyone ok with that
