Ok just bored and wondered what everyones opinions are on weapons:

it can be any traditional chinese weapon (or japanese), it can also be a form (e.g. Tiger) or your fists (even though they aint really a weapon)!

I'll start!

Mine is probably a 9 sectional whip, a halberd, Tiger hooks, a spear, or a heaven and earth blade!

9 sectional whip - It has it's advantages and it's not a very common weapon, also alot of damage can be done with one!

Halberd - You can keep your distances whilst attacking (which is always and advantage) and it was used to basically kill horses and i hate horses(y)!!!

Tiger hooks - Exotic and rare, not very common and they look immense!

Spear - They look nice and it's like the halberd, you can keep your distance whilst attacking.

Heaven and earth blade - Looks abnormal and is properly amazing it's just like a sharpened sheet of metal to drive into someone but with handles and cut/made into a blade!

The Body, it controls any weapon, can evade and weapon and can disarm anyone

i'd actually say the brain is the weapon of mass distruction in that case because the brain controls everything! without a brain you'd be think and wouldn't be able to talk,read,hear,move let alone swing a weapon round!

But if you didn't have a body you wouldn't have a brain! you can have a body and no brain but your brain dead and can't do shit all!!! so yeh get told!!

ahh but without the body the brain has no protection or source of nutrition. they both need each other too survive. Read 'The Belly and The Limbs' by Livy and you will understand how society cannot live without government and government cant live without society.

Tri sectional staff.......nuf sed :D

Come on people, the effectiveness of weapons, is controlled by the user.
It pepends on training and practice. The 6ft staff is my weapon of choice, because it is versatile, and I know how to use it.
Try the Halberd, to the beginner it is slow and unwieldy as a ground fighting weapon.
The tri-sectional staff, is difficult to control in combat, but devastating in the damage it can do.
The sword is good in close combat, but against a really good staff fighter, it's vertually useless, as has been proven in history. Look up quarterstaff on english heritage.
Nun chucks, again, very good in the hands of an expert.
A well trained, agile, and flexible body is really all that is needed, coupled with a focussed mind.. Don't be afraid to tell me I'm talking rubbish if that's what you think. There are ways of proving and disproving what's been said. :lol:

but guns are uncivilised

my weapon would be a pair of tonfas, although i'm not very good with them. i favour close quarter weapons as you get colse to your enemy and stari into his or hers eyes and you can tell what they are going to do. you are able to fight and block with your forearms witch is, to me, more natural than using anyother long range weapon.

i think the mind is the most devistating weapon as only the mind can create a weapon capable of millions of people with a single blast.
