My sister just sent me the same artricle! Makes all this med stuff even more confusing doesn't it? My doctor weaned me off Paxil and I am on Effexor, which I don't think is doing anything (except make me crabby irritable and weepy). Thos of you that know me know I have been blue for a long time. I changed meds about a week before my surgery in January, and haven't been the same since. <s> I think doctors just guess which med to put you on! Mo I got off Lexapro earlier this year with difficulty...ask Susanne ,Gwen and Marti...I was really not feeling well...but I now take Buspar for half the day and Xanax late afternoon and night. I hope you can pull through this rough time... :( (grh)
Hey, this is a very good and timely article for me.....my friend's teen daughter, poor thing, has been puking for 4 days after weaning off paxil....she is now not puking but has the runs....just able now to eat and drink a bit...she is so miserable.

I sure hope she is successful in getting off the Paxil...poor thing! I felt terrible getting off the Lexapro but I didn't get that sick but I tapered and every taper you felt bad...hope this helps her Diane.
