That's right, Gwen. It is one year on our new board. Gee, I didn't realize you had been around that long. I only found HL in 2001, 20 years after diagnosis.

I can't remember if it was 2000 or 201 when I first found Healinglight...but it turned things around for me. Thanks Aspen. l1wv

The medical people told me to talk with addisonians so I did and it was the best advice I have even been given. (0) Changed my meds and my doses and got my life back. gdbV gdbV gdbV Not one of those AD'ers ,other than Aspen,is still posting. But you'll never get rid of me.... :D
So you've had AD for 25 years Susanne? It's so good to know that there are people who have done so well for so long.
What's with this high BP? Did it come along after years of AD? I'm reading how a lot of us are struggling with it. Mine seems to sit at 115-120/70 and so does Jake's BP - not that he has AD, just thought I'd throw that in!!

Yes, Gwen, I've had AD (actually polyglandular syndrome) for 25 years and I do very well. I am definitely one of the lucky ones.
I have only had high BP for about the past four years. Before that, it was often too low. I have no idea what changed to give me hypertension. I guess it is an age thing. I am going to be 52 next month. :o

I learned so much from the ADer's too, Gwen. I remember one member of the old HL sent me an email telling me in detail how she took her combo of HC and pred and I took her advice and tried it! It was so much better than pred alone...I contacted her recently and she is back working and seems to be doing well. :)
I am so appreciative of all of you and you'd better not leave us, Gwen!

I'm going no where JO
Yes, I remembered that you're poly Susanne & I know that's more difficult to handle healthwise.....am I the only one with just AD?
Sorry about the BP....
