Summary: Diabetes with Albuminuria

People with diabetes are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
Are at least 18 years of age.
Have diabetes and albuminuria (protein in the urine).

You may not participate in this study if you:
Are using diltiazam or verapamil.
Have HIV.
Have symptomatic congestive heart failure.
Have a urinary tract infection.
Are pregnant, breastfeeding or intend to become pregnant during the study.
