Thanks Jo. She is a cutie pie, isn't she.
John brought her home last night. He was just a few blocks from home when he spotted this little sweetie-pie in the road, a very busy road. He got out and just went over and picked her up. It was raining out and she was all wet and he said she purred all the way home.
We named her Bunny since it is Easter time. I called my daughter and she can't wait to see it. She loved the name, too. Liz will be home later today for the Easter weekend.
The funny thing is that my other three cats are running from this teeny little thing. For the moment, they are not happy about this at all.

I feared this! They feel threatened and will just have to get used to Bunny. I have seen this happen and it does seem odd that these adult cats are afraid of a little kitten...but they are!
I love the story Susanne...she knew John was a good friend immediately! Someone probably just left her there...this makes me so mad when it happens...glad John found her. :)

The three adult cats are really acting ridiculous. You wouldn't believe all the growling and hissing going on around her today. I just put Bunny in the cat carrier and put her in Liz's room and closed the door so she could take a nap, she has been running around all morning and if she isn't tired, I am  .
She has some grease on her coat and some on her nose that I can't get off. I guess it is from her life on the streets  . There was some on her eye, but that wiped right off.
John said he has no doubt that she would have been killed within the half hour of when he found her.
She is eating like a pig, too. I guess she hadn't eaten lately. All in all, a happy ending, once my other three realize they are so much bigger and feel less threatened.

 There are pre-moitened wipes for cats at Wal-Mart that might take the grease off! It smell good , too! I've used it on mine, especialy Peaches who gravitates to grease if he's in the basement and also he's so fat he can't reach his back to groom!
The other three will be a real headache until they accept Bunny! -cks- Just eat a few cookies and relax while Bunny naps!

Jo, thanks for the tip about the pre moistened wipes. I'll look for them. The little spot near her eye in the photo was the bit of grease the wiped off. I'll have to send a new photo. I believe she is a long haired cat.
It is so funny to see one of my adult cats running down the hall and the tiny little ball of fur galloping three feet behind chasing.
Yay, she already uses the litter box with no problem. And we see the vet Friday to start shots.
Thinking of changing her name to Sparky. I'll have to get Liz's opinion on this, too. Any opinions here? Bunny seems too tame for this little ball of energy.

I bet she will be a really fun cat as she is holding her own with the adults! It's also great she uses the litter box! She is obviously a very bright little cat! gdbV
