Title: Cares Foundation Disasterous Fire...
Description: need help...

from: http://www.caresfoundation.org/

CARES Foundation, Inc. is a tax exempt, non-profit, educational 501c(3) organization. Its purpose is to educate the public and physicians about all forms of Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, its symptoms, diagnostic protocols, treatment, genetic frequency, the necessity for early intervention and benefits of newborn screening. It is also dedicated to providing support and information to affected individuals and their families.

On the morning of Friday, February 17, 2006, a fire destroyed the CARES Foundation offices, taking with it everything we had: our server that contained our database, files, materials, library of journal articles, physician referral list, etc.

In the wake of this horrible event, the CARES Foundation is in need of your support more than ever. We are in desperate need of both financial contributions and office equipment. Please donate now via our secure website or send checks and/or office equipment to:

CARES Foundation, Inc., 189 Main Street, Millburn, NJ 07041

We also are in need of your assistance in rebuilding our database. Please re-register with CARES via our Join Us page and ask anyone you know that is affected by CAH, their family members and donors to do the same. This is the information we really need.

We will do our best to continue providing all the support services our members may need; however, we do apologize in advance for any delays you may experience in receiving a response. Your patience and continued support of the CARES Foundation and our mission to improve the lives of those affected by CAH is greatly appreciated.
