Title: Gwen, doing better?

Susanne - November 30, 2005 05:49 PM (GMT)
Gwen, I was wondering how you are doing now. And if your hubby is still tellling you to take it easy and more importantly, are you listening to him? s:D

Glad to read that you're Christmas shopping is under control. That's a good feeling. I don't have any to do this year. Liz went to the mall last week and when she got back, she told me I bought her a bunch of stuff for Christmas. I said, Oh, good, do you like everything? and she said, Yes, I love it, Thanks, Mom s:D . So I'm done. (This all means that she put it all on the credit card that I pay, the one she uses at school for necessities). She has her own for fun stuff that she pays with her own money. oOm

 I've picked out gifts for myself as well - not a problem!!! I really don't deserve any gifts this year. For our 30th anniversary in May, I was given an princess cut eternity diamond band PLUS a band with a mixture of princess cut sapphires and diamonds. But if he wants to get me princess cut diamond earrings I wouldn't say no!! :D

I'm feeling really good albeit I still get tired BUT I don't push through it. I got the message Susanne and I am heeding the advice.

I was having a heck of time sleeping through the night. This has been going off and on since I was on pred. But finally last night I made it all the way through. I hope that spells THE END.

The allergist told us a story about a woman who was given pred by his office. They received a phone call from the police saying she was shop lifting!! :o

How are you doing? I am sorry about your daughter's ex.

Gwen

Wow!Shoplifting! Glad it didn't affect you that way! How much was she taking I wonder?

Oh, your 30th gifts sound lovely...I LOVE jewelery...

Sleeping through the night is a great feat! I sleep better now too. Such a relief. I think that makes us stronger and needing less steroid when we rest well. It would since sleep deprivation is a stress.

Jo....I am crazy about jewelery, too.

He never mentioned how much she was on. I guess sleep deprivation is better than stealing.....maybe

Gwen, I'm glad you're doing okay and not shoplifting  . That's certainly a strange side effect. I wonder if they could use it in defense.

Thanks about my daughter's ex. I really feel bad about this situation. :(

Your rings sound beautiful. I hope you get the earrings s#P I didn't know it was your thirtieth this year. Belated congrats.

I think they may been able to use it in a defense since they called the doc's office??!!

One of the rings (diamond eternity) he gave me was in memory of my Mom who passed last March. I really miss her.

Oh, I do Marti. He's always there for me as I am for him. ;)

That is so sweet, Gwen. In memory of your mother is so nice...it keeps her close. I wear my mother's tiny gold wedding band...it was hers.

Susanne, I think I am going to have my boy's go and buy their own Christmas gifts too. Goodness knows what they want besides money! s#P

Gwen, Glad you are feeling a little better! I'm hoping for a litttle jewelry this year too! But I think we are just going to redo our kitchen instead. s:D

Well, we did get Liz one little surprised. Did you get my email?

I have an order in for a huge red bow.

NJO - December 3, 2005 01:19 AM (GMT)
What if Liz decides to have a visit home...hide the bow! s:D

Susanne - December 3, 2005 02:29 AM (GMT)
I am not picking up the bow until Wednesday, which is the day after I actually have the car here. Then we are going to call her home on Thursday. We're going to tell her she has to sign some papers because we are making her the beneficiary of our life insurance (which we really are, but she doesn't really have to sign anything, it is all done already). Then we just wait till she gets here. I betcha I don't sleep at all on Wed. night. s:D

Susanne has the car! Yeah... s#P s#P s#P
