I've taken 2mg pred and 2.5 HC, so that's 12.5 extra, am tired and headed for a hot shower. I think it's early to bed tonight.

So sorry to hear you're not doing great right now, just when you have family coming. :( Be aware of any changes in symptoms and don't forget to increase your fluids. And take it as easy as possible while enjoying the family.

Thanks girls, that was quite an experience, but I think I caught it in time. I took 2.5 pred cause I couldn't find the 1 mg pills. Any way, I'll be sure to force fluids and take extra cortisol today...if I try to do too much it will be back to haunt me, so no extra stress. :) That hot shower put me asleep about 5 minutes after getting situated on the couch with some lemon herbal tea.

Do be sure and push those fluids and rest as much as possible ( notice I said possible). Just enjoy the time together that's what's important anyway...

I think this will work out, but I sure don't have anything extra to give. I took an extra 2.5 pred at 10:00 and another after lunch. In between I put things in the washer and Arch put the beds together because I got dizzy. I'm planning another 2.5 later this afternoon. I think the pred will help the inflammation, and the vitamin D does wonders with the brain fog. I feel quite mellow. I had a nap too!

Thanks for all the good advice here girls. Patty is having dinner at her place, so the girls will all be pitching in. Leslie fits right in with the rest of the girls, even though she's younger and we all have fun together. Looking forward to it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Thanks girls, we made it through the snow storm to Cleveland with Remy and Sandy in their 4WD Jimmy. Saw 6 accidents on the way that included extra police and ambulances...two involved semi's. Wind was blowing a ton and snow flew a lot, but didn't stick on the road. It was clear coming home later at night. I'm still taking my reg. dose of HC, and now have bumped to 5mg pred twice a day along with the HC. I conked out and slept a couple of hours this afternoon and the world seems more fresh, somehow! Hope you all had a wonderful day.
