I have friends who suffer from heartburn and I had it recently while taking antibiotics. :angry: Horrible. You really never know what others go through until it happens to you. They gave me Nexium and that certainly took the problem away quickly!! I usually have an cast iron stomach but the drugs did me in even though I was taking probiotics.

I had heartburn and pain for years...but my tummy is much better now. I don't know fully what has made the difference unless it's the probiotics and change in meds.

My husband has a lot of heartburn and he drinks colas! He doesn't drink coffee very often so it's colas for him... :(

Having it for years would be so hard - I found it stopped me in my tracks. Talking with friends they mention using a roll of tums per day. Funny, I am tough in other things but anything to do with my tummy gets me good. Must be the AD - I get a little worried!

We are here until about 3:00 PM when my nephew is due to arrive from Charlotte NC, then we are going to get a meal out and go get my brother at his DIL's so he can be home with his son ( my said nephew).

We ususaully go to the DIL's for TG but I wanted to be home with hubby this year! We are on our own so little since my brother moved next door.
