I didn't realize we were under a tornado watch until about 4:00pm...and it was a very rough early evening in parts of the state, but we just had thunderstorms and lots of wind and rain. There was one fatality in western middle TN. A lot of power outages in Nashville and surrounding counties, but ours has stayed on...supposed to turn really cold.

Anyone have a bad weather day too? It really bothers me now...I've seen a tornado and been near two others...they are so powerful...

We're supposed to get a lot of rain in the next few days. Maybe it is your storm coming this way. The temps are still nice, though, supposed to be 71 tomorrow again but then dropping into the high forties for the remainder of the week. Brrrrrrrr

We were near the tornado watch area, but only had rain through the night, no ugly surprises. Our temps are supposed to be dropping into the 30's by noon today, and the winds are howling to let us know this nasty weather is coming! STAY WARM AND COZY.

Hi All, In Chicago we are battling high winds, I guess that's why they call us the Windy City, it is getting cold and we had some snow showers this morning. Jo, I saw that Tennessee had some bad weather coming, and worried about you, my brother (Memphis) and my neice (Franklin). Glad you made it through so far with no power outages or damage. Haven't talked to my family down there yet, will check with them today. Stay safe! Maureen

I didn't hear anything about Memphis, but it was a lot of heavy storms in the Franklin area or nearby....hope your neice is okay. There were a lot of power outages in Nashville.

You have just got to get to Tenn and we'll meet somewhere...that would be so much fun!
