Title: Found a website for bloodwork

I was reading a thyroid forum last night and member recommend this site to a guy who was out of insurance and was needing meds and the Dr. wouldn't renew w/out a visit. He was told to try and see if the MD would accept this as it would be cheaper. I may try it! There is a Lab One listed about 5 mi. from me. The Free T3, T4, TSH was 75.00 and you get your results online. You can even get the antibodies checked...

And here is a website for having hormone levels checked.

http://profilehealth.com/profiles/hormone.html

Near the bottom of the page, click on "Learn How to Get a Hormone Profile". It explains everything; they will send you the test kit for a saliva sample and bill your insurance for you as well as fill the prescriptions that they find you need from your test results. I saw this on an infomercial with John R. Lee, M.D., author of "What your doctor may not tell you about menopause".
