Title: Tasha is a total klutz...

NJO - October 31, 2005 08:55 PM (GMT)
Tasha came to me Friday and was acting strange and I sould tell she wanted me to help so started looking and she'd torn another place on her breast bone area this time. It's ugly and a pretty big hole, but I didn't take her in this time...it looks clean and it sure isn't slowing her down any. I think she is accident prone...Rosie the other dog never has had any trouble with injuries...I think they are trying to catch rabbits and will go through anything in the effort. :(

Oh, sorry, Jo. You would think she would have learned her lesson the last time, but I guess not. I hope she heals okay. And I hope she slows down a little.

Poor dog - she probably is running into things on her quest for rabbit!!

I walk mine in the very early morning (0630) and we're always seeing rabbits and squirrels. She goes in a crouch mode and actually thinks she's a hunter when she sees a rabbit. It's hilarious - this big old golden retriever thinks she's gonna catch something!!

The best thing is we never break stride as I go pretty fast and she still gets to have fun! ^_^

Oh, I just know she is lovely...she still remembers when, huh? These dogs are just a year old...and Border Collies. Go, go , go...

We generally meet 2 border collies (same master) in the a.m. At first these dogs hated us - poor guy had to restrain them. So I asked, it is just us or everyone in general? Turns out they had been abused. They are doing so much better now but I know what you mean by go go go!!

I recently found out that Goldens do not like black dogs - we have encountered this at the doggie hotel. I thought dogs were colour blind???!!

That's interesting...sad to know that animals are abused. I guess the guy must have a lot of strenght by now! these two dogs are so strong...I couldn't hold them!

How is Tasha's injury doing now, Jo?

It's sure not slowing her down any...but the last I looked it was looking clean and not infected or anything. let's hope she stay out of trouble till it heals! thanks, for asking...
