Sorry, I am about half way through redoing all the verandah at my house prior to putting it on the market. should have done it a while ago but other things had priorities. When that is done I have a bit of paint to touch up and then I should be all yours. This is the first time I have checked in for a while :(

Good to see you, Sue. I hope things are going well. It can be very stressful getting a house ready to go on the market. You end up doing things you've wanted to do for a long time. Good luck with selling. And moving. :)

Hi Susanne, I have already moved about two months ago and have finally settled down here. But yes, I am up to fixing all the things that were on my to do list plus touching up some of the paint work ready for sale. I could have sold it a few times if I was ready to sell it. I have had a few phone calls from people who are interested and wanting to know if I will show them the house but it isn't ready.

I could have had it done but I have had a couple of trips to Melbourne with Alex since we moved. I have updated here on that? Anyway his hearing loss is partially sensorineural but mainly "retri-cochlear loss" meaning that the next step is to see our paediatrician on the 21st and see if he wants CT scans done or leave it up to a neurologist to decide. We are looking at a possible brain tumor at worst whic h is interesting as his migraines are increasing and his weight has ballooned over the past year, could be caused by infection etc as well so we have all that in front of us.

I am taking Josh back to the paed at the same time, he hasn't been for nearly a year, he was getting so stressed with all the testing that I called it quits. With the warmer weather the last week, he has slipped a fair bit so prob ably a good time to go back and see what the difference is over the year if any.

I have also made an appt at the dr's for myself on Monday as I have been neglecting myself healthwise. I have finally bit the bullet and will go about my tachycardia, palpitations, allergies etc and get it all looked at together as it all started getting more consistent ab out nine years ago after I was pretty sick for a while......
I think that is all :)

Sue it's really good that you are taking time out to care for you...I hope the problem with Alex hearing isn't the worst. It is get warm over there isn't it! We :( are heading into winter soon....woe is me! I hope Josh has a good summer...but I know the heat will be harder to deal with for him. That's hard for us and we aren't a little boy wanting to be out playing and enjpying the summer.

Hope all goes smoothly with selling your house. Are you happy in your new place? All the best ...

Hi Jo, as far as Alex goes I wouldn't be suprised if it isn't a nasty, he looks cushy, he has gained a lot of weight in the past year for no reason and no matter how I restrict his diet he hasn't slimmed down any, plus his headaches have turned into full blown migraines. We have ruled out congenital as he had an ABR when he was 4 months old. Fun ny really, I wanted him to have a scan for a while, probably more because of the weight gain and with Josh knowing what it "could" be so looks like we will see.

We have had either cold, wet days or 30 celsius days, it will only get hotter but the last week we have had high humidity with it and it has knocked him. He is having a sickie from school today, just flat and normal sick and he really didn't want to go on the excursion so I thought I'd give him a day off. They will be at their fathers this weekend so he will be exhausted when he gets home from there on Monday so hopefully a day home today will help.

The house we are living in is not much but I love this town :) the house should sell quickly once it goes on the market. It is old and lots of character, think bullnosed verandah's with wrought iron lacework, cast iron and tiled fire places etc and a large yard about a third of an acre, good sheds, choock yard, play ground area etc.

Better go Josh is annoying me :)

Sue, it is nice that you are in a town you love. What good would it be having the house of your dreams in a place you didn't want to be, so liking the area is great. I hope you are very happy there for a long time to come and that your boys and YOUR problems are soon under control and a thing of the past. Don't forget that you are just as important as the little guys, eventhough it is easy to put our problems on the back burner sometimes, but they need you to be well, so you have high priority as well. (grh)
