most of these posts are all about me and that's too much! Please bring up things that are on your mind about this world of AD and several other disease besides that we live with daily...sure would like to know about you...

Well, this isn't about AD, but my lumpectomy insicion began to bleed last night! I can't figure out why. It will be six weeks Tuesday. I didn't bump it or anything. I don't know what happened. <s>

Susanne, could you see much bleeding? Does your bra rub it? Watch this...

Our youngest daughter Sandy, who is a 16 year breast cancer survivor has recently been diagnosed very hypothyroid and was put on Thyroxin. Does anyone else se things cropping up in their kids like I do? Patty is also hypothyroid and has Pernicious Anemia..I've not had cancer, but both of them have, and my mother and maternal grandmother both died with cancer. I sometimes wonder about the genetic link.

I surely see the diabetes showing up again and again. Also, I believe there is autoimmune disorders in our family. My sister died at 9 yrs old with kidney disaese which was the type seen in lupus. My mom had inflamatory arthritis and high BP when about my age, but it went into remission(the arthritis) her BP was bothersome in later life. yes, i agree that there is a genetic link with a lot of the diseases we have...

Not much bleeding, Jo. But the fact that I thought it was healed and it bled kind of surprised me. I will watch it. Thanks.

Susanne, boy this sure does seem like a long time ....did it look all the way healed before this bleeding started?? I know we can take a long time to heal but maybe soon ask the doc about it...probably will say the same thing that's here, making sure it is not rubbing on anything...etc...
My mom used to swear that putting neosporin on cuts, etc helps them heal faster and better.....

Yes, Diane. Mom was diabetic and an infectious disease doc told her if she had a cut, etc. to pile on the Neosporin that it would help before an infection but not after. Then it would need Betadine which would kill anything that crawled!

Diane, it appeared to be healed from the outside, but I don't think internally it had healed because if I would happen to roll onto my stomach in my sleep (YEEEOOOOWWWW) boy did I wake up fast. It felt like I had been stabbed so I am guessing it wasn't healed internally.

Diane and Jo, thanks for the tip about Neosporin. I was actually thinking last night I should use it, but then didn't. I have some here so I will start to, at least until the outside heals again. I don't know what to do about furthering along the internal healing process. :(

If it still hurts in a week, I'll give the surgeon's office a call. Thanks guys.
