Title: OH What a nasty nasty day

Shelley bob - June 11, 2008 05:42 PM (GMT)
So I have this awful cold and it settled in my throat and chest overnight...
Colds usually settle in my chest and it makes me mad. Anyway today it was my day to take 8 cubscouts to cubscout day camp. It starts at 8:30 and gets out at 2:30. We get there and it's snowing!!
I could not believe it! The wind was just howling. They did the opening ceremonies and tried to start the activities but the kids were just too cold. Not to mention the leader! Breathing in that cold sharp air nearly killed me! After an hour they closed the camp and are going to reschedule it. I was thanking God for hearing my prayers. It was only 34* with a windchill factor somewhere in the low 20's. Soooo cold. :(
I am going to go to bed for the rest of the day. What an unbelievable day.
I just don't get this snow in June stuff

I just saw on the new that Washington/Oregon was getting snow! Sorry it was so cold and wet and you were having to be out in it! Stay nice and warm in bed and hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow. (grh)

I took a nap but I feel like I"ve been run over by a train!! My lungs are soooo heavy and I'm sooo tired. My hubby went and got that astragulas so I figure now is as good a time to try it as any. I really want to try and keep this bug out of my lungs. I get pnumonia and bronchitis way too easily. And of course I don't want the dreaded "A's" (do you hear the creepy music in the background everytime you read that?? I hear it as I type it... ;) )
