Title: dark spots in the front, not the back

okie - May 16, 2008 04:28 AM (GMT)
Hello Everyone,

It has been quite some time since I have logged on.I hope everyone is doing well.

I have a question..... I noticed about 3 months ago I was getting dark spots on my belly, below the navel and towards the sides. One spot on each side, about the size of a silver dollar but shaped like a football.
I do alot of driving on my job in the winer and figured it was due to sitting and it was dry skin.It has now lightened a little but is still there.
Since I had the dark spots on my back when being diagnosed in 1999 this is starting to worry me a little.
I have not even had a cold in years and feel great.
Has anyone else expierenced spots on the side of their belly?

Disease with hyperpigmentation w/ pictures

Hi Jon...good to hear from you. l1wv

I am giving you a link with some info on hyerpigmentation and you can see if any of it fits your problem...another member was recently told she had melasma. And I have a lot of freckling and skin tags and spots that I didn't used to have but this could be age! Also, with AD you can develope hyperpigmentation at pressure points...could this be a cause for yours?
