Zac had his first consult with the orthodontist last Thursday and my daughter her 75th, well not really but just seemed like it. Anyway, Zac will need to have 4 teeth extracted to make room for teeth coming in, they will do 2 at a time, I havent' set up the appt yet, I want to call his endo and find out what the concerns will be. They will use novacane (sp) - he then will need to wear a spacer, a metal apparatus that will be cemented to his teeth and we will need to turn a key on it daily. He will have it on for 6 months. Would there be any issues with that and the Addisons? Lindsey is on her way to getting braces, her June appt will be the first one where they take x-rays, pic's and impressions. Thank god we are carrying dual dental insurance this year.

Barbara he should probably up by half his daily dosage to get teeth extracted. Try to get an early morning appointment. He'll probably breeze right through it, but if he gets agitated and loses control he'd need more. I don't have any Addisonian children, but they all react differently to that kind of trauma. :unsure:
