Title: I'm back :D

Sue Hassell - April 26, 2008 12:07 PM (GMT)
Hi everyone, I am having to rest more as I have re-injured my back and back to having sciatica in both legs. On dex for an antiinflammatory as I can't take NSAIDS or Cox2's....long story, just one of those silly things that shouldn't have hurt anyone but.....

Josh continues to maintain his BP and is doing in general better, maintining and gaining some weight although still very slight and getting smaller for his age....his bmi is so low that it is tragic but he seems healthy enough just the vagueness that is his main concern these days. Gets a lot of kidney pain.....interesting, isn't it? so will wait and see what happens, kidney function is fine although has some protein which is not enough for a concern as renal ultrasounds etc are all fine.

Alex is puberty and horrid with it. Finally ready after all these years to say yes give him drugs (ritalin) but we have to wait another two months without a sz before they will <sigh> Hormones have undone all the work and achievements he has made in the last 6 years....is 11 to early for a boy to be puberty? My eldest didn't start until he was 14. Anyway he has lost most of his social skills, all of his manners, most of his concentration levels etc which is so frustrating to see.

Mum is plodding along, not really well but all the tests are saying no sign of cancer so fingers crossed, she is losing weight at about 3-4 lbs a week due to general malaise which she has the weight to lose but I would be much happier if she was losing it because she was dieting and exercising.

My house is on the block an nearing completion....kindof anyway, but looking amazing, we have had so many hiccups but it is all working out. Life is good in so many ways at the moment. Bedtime for me but will try and catch up more tomorrow or the next day (when the boys are back at school) I hope all are well and love you all.

S'wonderful to hear from you Sue, and get an update on Josh. Sorry you have to be in bed right now, and hope you'll soon get rid of the pain so you can be up and going again.
