The National Institutes of Child and Human Development (NICHD), are pleased to announce The Second Annual Pheochromocytoma conference, Pheochromocytoma 2007, to be held 28-29 September, 2007 at the DoubleTree Hotel, Bethesda, Maryland. As a result of the success of last years inaugural Pheochromocytoma Conference we are extending the duration of the event. We are also using host facilities that will allow a larger number of patients, family members, and medical professionals to attend.

This years conference will remain focused on providing comprehensive and up-to-date information on the diagnosis and treatment of those suffering Pheochromocytoma. We will also continue to focus not only on providing a forum for the exchange of medical information but also information of value to patients, family members, and care givers. First and foremost this conference is intended to be a "bringing together" and a "sharing" as well as a forum for learning for all of the communities impacted by Pheochromocytoma.

Conference Goals:

Provide the most current diagnostic and treatment information to patients and families of those suffering from pheochromocytoma.

Provide information regarding research programs and recent research findings

Provide information regarding treatment options available within the medical community, with special focus on NIH programs.

As important as the exchange of technical knowledge is to this conference of equal importance is the value to be gained by bringing all involved together in a manner that will be conducive to many forms of learning. Therefore additional goals are:

Provide information in a setting that allows meaningful dialogue between the different constituents in the pheochromocytoma community.

Provide an appropriate environment to allow patients and families to interact and share knowledge, experience, and resources.
