Title: NADF...Endocrine surgeons? Diabetes research

NJO - August 15, 2005 06:21 PM (GMT)
Dear NADF Membership:

I hope this e-mail finds everyone well, and enjoying their summer.

NADF is currently looking for recommendations of endocrine surgeons who are proficient in Bi-lateral Adrenalectamies. If you have had both or just one of your adrenals removed and are very happy with the surgeon who performed the operation, please let us know. (We have a new contact who must have his adrenals removed and is looking for a great surgeon.)

On a different subject: Diabetes Type I Research

There are many research studies, underway and ongoing, regarding: treatment, reduction of the condition in newborns genetically at risk, neuropathy, kidney involvement, et al. of Diabetes Type I. To review the research taking place and decide whether or not you would like to get involved, go to:

Best to all,

Melanie Wong
Executive Director
National Adrenal Diseases Foundation
