Woohoo... so we met up... and managed to find each other... We went to a simply wonderful restaurant. We both like Indian and it was good Indian food (not greasy) so I was thrilled to try out new stuff. We both had the buffet. Some of the food was unexpected spicy so were we laughing and calling for more water.
BTW - she cheated and had dessert twice... :D both with her meal and afterwards... bdpty
Then we got food to go (mine for my hubby as I have to go easy for my stuff that is coming up...).
As we were getting tired (gosh- who would guess about that!!!) and we were also chuckling about - was that your alarm for medications or mine? and the restaurant wanted to boot us, we went shopping a little... where I encouraged her to get a cute pinkish dress and another one for winter.
I got a top and pants. Both with pockets for my "drugs" - Kathy thinks I need to work on my language and perhaps select other words... :unsure:
Then we came back and she dropped me off. We took a few pictures - was again funny in itself... I sent a couple to Jo so she can post one.
Perhaps the worst part was I kept getting phone calls from my FIL and my husband... so poor Kathy had to endure the real me... and her poor ears may never be the same. Sorry! :blink: With the MIL in the hospital... I still get no peace.
It was great - had a lot of fun - we should do it again!

Yes, I wish you all could of been there. On the Dble dessert - I couldn't help myself!! :lol: However, in my defense, since one was carrots w/ honey & butter & the other was Cream of Wheat w/ Raisins & nuts, of which I took half home, it's not quite as "SINFUL" as your typical dessert!! (Hey that soothes my concious anyway! ;) ) Ha-Ha!

Heck it was my Birthday! Since I can't eat Birthday cake, it was the next best thing!! Yes, that's right folks no Cake, cookies Ice Cream, Pie - EVER!! :o So, I do what I can when I can. bdpty (This is due to the Reactive Hypoglycemia that came along w/ my AD! Lucky me huh?!

Hey Jen, I'm wearing the Pinkish Coral dress today. Looks great w/ a pair of Control Top Panty Hose, White Clog type sandals & as a jacket I'm wearing a Lg Cut, White Egyptian Cotton Blouse w/ floral cutouts all over it. Looks very nice layered over the dress.

Sunday is supposed to be cool, I can't wait. I want to wear my new Blue Victorian style dress to Church if that is the case. Going to try to drop into Payless shoes before then - I need a new pair of Winter White Granny Boots, which I think would go great w/ the Blue Dress. Been needing a new pair anyway - Now I have an excuse to go get em!

Thanks again for helping me Celebrate my Birthday & my Raise!! Was great fun, and hopefully we can get together again soon.
