On Labor Day, Heather Nagy, NADF Director of Fund Development, crossed the Mackinac Bridge for the annual Mackinac Bridge Walk with hubby Dave. Together, they raised over $2000.00 for NADF! Thank you, Heather and Dave!

Not sitting on her laurels (she doesn't seem to sit much at all) Heather, an Addisonian, will be participating in a 5K run on Thursday, September 21st. Way to go, Heather! Best of luck.

Does the name Teresa Wallin sound familiar? It should. We ran a story in the NADF News® about her amazing run in the New York City Marathon in 2002.

If you have been wondering what Teresa has been up to, she reports she's participated in sprint-triathalons and bicycle tours, but took time off from marathons after 2002, due to her diagnosis of fibromyalgia. She also delivered a baby boy in the interim. (Yes, Teresa has Addison's disease.)

News flash from Teresa: "...I'm back, still struggling--but strong." Teresa will be running the New York City Marathon in November of this year. Can you believe it? Wow!

Wait...that's not all....she will be running in the Disneyword Marathon in January of 2007!
