“A Friend”

A friend is there to keep you afloat when your head begins to dip beneath the water,
A friend is there to keep you grounded when your head soars above the clouds.
A friend would bend over backwards for you,
Simply because you would, without a second thought, do the same for them.

A friend is a precious commodity, never easy to come by, and never easy to lose.
A friend has your respect, and you have theirs.
A friend would be there with you good times and bad times.
A friend is only with you as long as your life was to affect theirs, and their life to affect yours.
A friend teaches many valuable lessons, with or without words.

A friend is a person you know well, who knows you well.
A friend is a person from whom you know what to expect, and from whom you constantly learn about.
A friend is your companion, there to say kind words when you need them,
A friend is your worst enemy, there to say harsh words when you need them.

Do not take for granted what you have; lament long gone friends and celebrate memories sour or sweet.’

((I have few people whom fit this build. How many can you name? (((That was a rhetorical question)))) ))

I like that, Remmy.

It's simple but honest.
