No.

You took 1,800 tickets and still had some left the other day.

Correct. We offer potentially 3000 tickets, yet Boro only took 1800. Any further allocation, which I'm sceptical you took anyways, would be another block of 500 totalling 2,300. Rather poor to be honest.

To be fair Boro's away support has improved lots this year.

it has mate, but last year and year before was the year it went down.
before in about 2003/4 our away support was very good.

we are encouraged by the now 'standing' away support which is very vocal.
i go to a lot more now,it's dear but sometimes worth it!

Do the bulk of boro fans travel by train or coach for this?

graemeboro - March 1, 2007 01:52 PM (GMT)
Our away support has been poor before this season becos we were in Europe and fans what usually go to normal away games wanted a taste of Europe instead, therefore had no money for domestic games as Europe would cost around £200 for 1 game on average.

And we were given 1,800 tickets and sold them within 4 days, its not the fans fault that our tenchty club couldnt be arsed requesting a bigger allocation, no doubt we would have sold em easily. They have been sold out for over a week. And, yes we probably will stand all game, as we usually do.

Lots of fans will come on coaches, but plenty on the trains too, am goin from Darlo to newcastle on the train, it means no changes.

on the travel club bus

Respect to Boro, we both gave as good as good as we got. Fans clashed after game unsprisingly, as Newcastle fans goaded Boro fans. "Why do we always eat" I like pies ;)

Maybe 'Boro should start making their own fans bloody sit down before they decide to cut our away allocation because we stand! Horrible bloody hypocrites!
