How many tickets are we (man united) going to get at your place for the replay?

lol i remember reading on your forums how disgusted you were with the general behaviour of us and of our anti england chanting. Expect it in abundence in a few weeks time!

You'll get 4,400, which is the whole of the South Stand.
I don't mind your behaviour to be honest.
It contributes to a racuous atmosphere, and a bit of banter never did anybody any harm.

You actualli did sing at that game :S

All you could hear on tv was the reading fans ocassionally, and the odd "United, United".

Hmmm... Tell me im wrong if im wrong please, but the atmosphere sounded shite via the telly

Alot of man utd fans are anti england I can't remember exactly why, was it to do with beckham?? Can't remember maybe a man utd fan will give us the answer.

I'm not anti england but I have no interest watching an england game I would rather watch another foreign teams play, it always seems to me that not every england player really cares if they win or lose whereas most other players of national teams look like they would die for their country. The scotland match against france springs to mind I've never seen a passionate display like that from england for a long long time.

The behaviour of your fans was tame that day, outsung for most of the game and the only outcry was at the 'he plays on the left...' chant.

As Ali said, you'll get 4,400 tix...

And the reason for United fans being anti-England is that there's a conspiracy that United players are always those blamed for England's demise. Beckham in 98, P Neville in 2000, Scholes came in for some flack in 2002 and Euro 2004 then of course Ronaldo in 2006.

It goes further back than that Jamie.

International football holds no importance

Jamie.rfc - February 18, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
So which of you Manc's off of here are travelling down? And how would you be doing so??

yorkiebarkid - February 18, 2007 09:57 PM (GMT)
If I can get half a day off of work I'll be going down in my amazing maroon machine* as the league away was one of a couple I've missed.

*Mark 3 Astra on it's last legs

And yet again the United Ticket Office show just how much common sense they have.

They are opening applications for this game Today and it's being closed on Wednesday at 12 noon. Surely it's not that hard to realise that many of those who will be going to Reading will be going to the match in Lille Tomorrow. They should have held off with the applications for another couple of days to give these people a chance to apply!

Utd 90210 - February 19, 2007 02:45 PM (GMT)
I'm not certain but I think the BBC will be showing this game and it will be an 8:05pm kick off.

4th game in the FA Cup, 4th time being shown by the BBC. :o

Dan-Reading FC - February 22, 2007 11:49 AM (GMT)
And Reading win, its going to be shown on the BBC on the 10th March
