Title: Cirque De Citeh

Just been watching them on SSN outside wastelands with bloody towels round their heads to welcome the latest set of comedians to take over the club and promise league titles and european cups within 6 months.
And now apparently they're going to nick berbatov at the last minute. If you're prepared to shell out in excess of £30million for him and he's daft enough to go then you're very welcome to him.
Quotes from the people interviewed (all from stockport - no lie!) included such old timey gems as, "ciddy are back" and "unbelievable, top 4 this year"
They really never learn do they?

They seem desperate for success but at what cost. This time last year they were holding a thai party in Albert square with that tyrant who is now their "honourary chairman". Those supporters interviewed were probably there.

Personally I find it hard to see how some fans can still claim to identify with their clubs in the same way they once did as the club moves further and further from their roots.

Football really is eating itself.

Sadly, getting yourself a wealthy Arab/Russian/etc increasingly seems to be becoming the only way you can compete in what has become of football, and the modern day "supporters" seem to be lapping it up. I never thought I'd see the day that such a sizeable number of Liverpool fans would be so welcoming of outside investment by a couple of yanks who have no affinity or feeling for their club. Of course, after a couple of seasons of the Americans not working out, they simply wanted DIC(K) all along.
