Surely ridiculous.

Completely and utterly ridiculous! Then again, count up the number of mangers they've had over the past few years - Hoddle, Vialli, Hullit, Ranieri, Mohriniho, Grant (excuse the spellings) and perhaps not so suprising.

Will whoever takes over suffer the same fate at the end of next season if the trophy cabinet at Stamford Bridge isn't adorned with trophies? Given managers they sacked were successful, the answer could well be yes. By the same yardstick, Arsenal should be sacking Wenger and Liverpool, Benitez!

Is it any co-incidence that Man Utd have won what they've won with the same manager consistently at the helm?

Good to see Chelsea get to two finals and take the league to the last day and yet still win nothing. Got through two managers this season aswell

Maybe we can do them at the Bridge next year B)

It's nothing new. Chelsea have been sacking managers for ridiculous reasons throughout their history. We let Eddie McCreadie go because he asked for a company car. It's becoming a bit of a poisoned chalice I agree, especially when you look at the most prominent example in Real Madrid - they've never really recovered since Del Bosque went.

Hoddle went because of the England job however, that wasn't our doing. The rest with the exception of the last 2 have been for quite valid reasons - Gullit wanted too much money, Vialli lost touch with the players, and Ranieri was never going to take us to the places we wanted to be, it's as simple as that. Sparky for Chelsea :P

Came as no suprise, the greed of the new JCL owner, is shown by the greed of the new JCL Chelsea fans who think they have a devine right to buy the league and the cups.
You wonder how long he will accept 2nd best for, afterall, there are only so many managers you can try. One day he will simply get up and walk away, perhaps to Madrid or to Milan.

Abravomich has the power to do what he likes, and he's done exactly that

Mark Hughes next manager though please, something different than the usual overseas options, and to make it even better bring Zola and keep Clarke as assistants

Now, wouldn't that be novel...?! And fantastic for English football. Still, won't happen in a million years, any more than Ferguson will be replaced by an English/British manager... they're just not rated or fashionable.

He is welsh though, but I get what you mean, it would be a different feeling to see someone British, other than Fergie, at the top of the league.
