I thought it was a good match. When both teams are very evenly matched in all departments you very rarely get a highly entertaining match, although saying that, we had 2 goals, 2 very good Man U chances, 2 very good Chelsea chances when they hit the woodwork and an entertaining penalty shootout. All in all a decent game to watch IMO.

Anyway, for all Fegies a world class manager he's a tench historian.

Its hard to get excited when I don't like either side, but have to say was quite entertaining.

Like wise. All things considering, i thought the atmosphere was very good. The SEF 'Believe' choreo was very good as was Chelseas flags.

I thought the singing went the same way as the game, all United first half, all Chelsea 2nd half and it was about equal during extra time.

Chelsea deserved to win imo

Hard to believe we were one spot kick from the European Cup. Didn't think it could get worse than against the scousers but was proven wrong yet again. Will take time to fully sink in but needless to say was drunkenly devastated last night. Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, in essence. I don't care what anyone says about Terry the man is an absolute diamond, must have been tragic for him. Proud of him, the club on the whole, and indebted to every supporter who made their way to Moscow to support the Chels. To think how far we've come in the space of 20 years is unbelievable. We will win this bloody thing one day.

It certainly is. But I was actually trying to point out it's a matter of pride and of not feeling sorry for one's self and the team, since this time 20 years ago we were relegated. Not that you would know anything about that sort of thing.

LongtonLeeds - May 22, 2008 10:22 AM (GMT)
What the having a billionaire owner for 5 years now and still not winning the only thing he is bothered about...nope we dont

Relegations and losing european cup finals we sure do.....

and this time 20 years ago we lost a play off final

Blackcountry Villa - May 22, 2008 10:25 AM (GMT)
The only plus side of Man Utd winning is we can still sing 'Have you won the European cup?' at Chelsea next season ;)

purpleronnie - May 22, 2008 10:47 AM (GMT)
Have to say I was impressed with Chelsea fans I expected them to be very quiet.

shrenchel - May 22, 2008 10:47 AM (GMT)
Was a good final. Was expecting a re-run of last year's FA cup final but enjoyed it really.

Chelsea shoulda won but trout it don't really care. Good to see that terry twat crying his eyes out, couldn't have happened to a nicer blole.

Blackcountry Villa - May 22, 2008 11:40 AM (GMT)
Whats everyone got against John Terry? I don't get it. He's a top class defender, brave and no nonsense, he's English, he's loyal to Chelsea and he's passionate about his club and country, whats wrong with that? It's players like that cheating little Argie ba$tard Tevez that we should hate

Spot on villa lad.only person who talks sence on here

AndrewFFC - May 22, 2008 12:19 PM (GMT)
Hes a scumbag who lets 17 year old girls give him blowjob in the back of his Bentley, cheating on his missus for the 328th time.
On top of that hes a bottler.

My point exactly

He's a greeting face whinging little prick when things don't go his own way. He's a two-faced fcuk, the way he and his players try and bully the ref etc etc. Fcuk him! :D You can add Lampard and Drogba into that aswell

I'd take Rio over terry anyday. Probably Vidic aswell.

How is he a bottler? He may have cheated on his wife but thats his private life, as a footballer he is definitely no bottler. Just because he missed a penalty? Techincally he didn't bottle it, the players that didn't step forward to take one bottled it, and as i said if he hadn't of slipped he would have scored because van der saar had gone the wrong way

AndrewFFC - May 22, 2008 01:02 PM (GMT)
Typical England player, cant score a penalty for tench.
The amount of times ive seen those goons terry and lampard standing there like lemons as they once again inevitably get knocked out with england/chelsea must be atleast 50.

Ontop of that he spat on Tevez to prove what a low life twat he is.
There is some justice.

AFC#1 - May 22, 2008 01:15 PM (GMT)
Don't know what his problem was when Tevez kicked the ball out of play to give the ball back that led to Drogba being sent off.
Chelsea did the same to United in the 90 minutes.
Chelsea would of probably won it as Drogba would of scored his pen, nae luck.
