Title: We Are Staying Up
NMFinest/FulhamFC - May 12, 2008 12:17 PM (GMT)
What a day on the south coast it was yesterday. Doesnt get much better. Was also nice to see the whole Fulham end standing for once, which never happens with our fans. Police tried to ruin the day after by forcing us straight onto a train but it didnt matter, we still celebrated until the early hours :D

Agree with others on this thread, Fulham is in the top 5 aways every year for us so very happy they stayed up. :D

Annoyed you stayed up, I liked Craven Cottage too, much prefer that to the Madjeski. We were always screwed with Reading playing Derby anyway, but I wanted you down with us from a personal point of view

Saw Hugh Grant on MOTD in the crowd Didnt know if he was standing - get him on board if so - We need some famous people. Russel Brand , Ian Wright, Jimmy Greaves, John Barnes and Bill Kenwright are the most well known - JUST NEED TO ROLL THEM ALL IN. Come on

Gutted Fulham have stayed up I really wanted to do it, look like a great ground and easy from Swansea on the train.
Instead I'll be going to Reading for the third time and sitting in silence, at least it's very easy to get to by car, but Fulham you got may hopes up for so long :(

Yeh I was as stunned as anyone. I always hoped we could get it going but thought it wouldnt happen as it never does, but we had everyone standing from the front row. It was quality

Well done Fulham. Really pleased for you. Roy Hodgson is brilliant - humble, thoughtful and underrated. Plus plenty of ex-Tottenham players.

Fulham away first game of the season please. 5000 tickets, great away day and hopefully hot weather

While on the subject of ex Spurs players, Stalteri is awful. Really hope he goes back to you during the summer. Young Elliot Omozusi is a much better right back

Stalteri is a strange one. A classic example of someone who is extremely fit and dedicated but can't play football. He won the double in Germany with Werder Bremen as well.
Saw a couple of Fulham fans at Kings Cross with that look on their faces that sums up what a cracking day you can have following your team.

So happy reading went down and fulham stayed up, all those plastic reading fans crying into their replica shirts was a sight for sore eyes.
AndrewFFC - May 13, 2008 06:24 PM (GMT)
Stalteri is decent.
Really gutted i missed out if we stood all 90 then

Yeh we went to a pub in Waterloo when we got back to London and the Spurs fans in there were not happy  According to them, the ref had a shocker

Yeh must have been the first time I have seen a Fulham away end stand from start to end, apart from the replay at Bristol Rovers this season where we had quite a few more than usual standing, but the stand there is depressingly small so it doesnt really count
