Title: Media This Summer
Description: Another rant on,

Well the lack of any home nations being involved this year in the Euro's could be a blessing in disguise for the campaign. I'm not on about fully grown blokes with there faces painted crying there eyes out during penalty shoot-outs and the usual media campaign blaming everyone except themselves for the state the country is in (Making us seem bigger and better than we actually are).

Basically we need to get our campaign out into the media. TV, Local and National newspapers, Websites (Football365 and the like). So surely if we all email them a well wrote email describing the campaign and could try and get Amanda or another member who could give a brilliant interview out into the news then thats the sort of media attention we need.

We could also get petition going round at every club, asking people to sign if they want supporters to have a choice of standing or sitting. The online one is great but we need to reach out to more people through getting signatures at football grounds. Say if each club represented got a thousand (some might get less than this some might get a lot more depends on attendaces etc.) Then paired with the online petition the FLA would need to look at the petition a bit more seriously.

Finally probably been pointed out a lot but is it not worth sorting the website out? Or at least updating it?

Joe, we're working on a media campaign thanks to one of our members being Martin Samuels in disguise. More when all confirmed...

And the website will be moving over to the Vital network.

We're also meeting with the FSF at their conference in July to work on kick starting the campaign in the new season.

Plus, as you may have read elsewhere on the site, work is being done on the injury figures. As soon as they've reached a conclusion we'll be able to give more details.
