Just had a call from Tony who sits on our row in the Kop..
His mate - a chelsea fan as just rang and said a Cheslea fan has died less than 2 hours ago, after a kicking on tuesday in Liverpool.
The Fight was alleged to have been pre arranged, don't know any more details so don't ask.
The Chelsea lad who made the call.. said to watch our backs on wednesday as e-mails are flying about on chelsea websites saying that they're out for revenge !
Anyone heard anything ? like I say don't shoot the messenger i'm only passing on what Tony's told me.
So be careful..

This is what I would of thought, i'm guessing we'll find out tommorow if its true or not. Either way after this rumour goes around the pubs tommorow, revenge will be high on the agenda for wednesday

Seriously though, very sad news if this is true. I'm skeptical though, I'm sure the red tops wouldn't have passed up such an opportunity to purvey football fans as murderous scumbags.

First i've heard of it, can't imagine it's true, as there's no way the red tops would pass up an opportunity to write up some dirt about football supporters. We all saw what happened the other day when some guy got ran over outside Villa Park. Front page of the sun ran a headline saying "rival fan murdered" or some rubbish, when it turned out they both supported the same team.
Can't say i've seen anything on any Chelsea forums either.
Even if it did happen, I can't see there being any 'revenge'. Some people have watched the football factory and green street too many times. It's the year 2008 for christ sake, when was the last time there was any major violence in or around a ground in England?
