Title: Last Min Goals
Description: best in the world!
stretford ender - April 20, 2008 01:30 AM (GMT)
Last min dramatic goals are the best, and the ultimate buzz. Today at blackburn was a prime example, uniteds end pure chaos after the goal!
WHat are your best last mint celebration memories? home or away!
7oaks iron - April 20, 2008 04:03 AM (GMT)
best
coventry away in the cup this season, deserved to lose 2 or 3 nil
worst
everton home, ready for extra time then in good old west ham fashion, defender and keeper run into each other, yakubu open goal.
sunderland away, deserved win for the mackems, just a cr*p way to lose a game.

Tottenham Hotspur 4-4 Aston Villa
Our 'anniversary' match from earlier this season - evening game so an excellent atmosphere. All the Tottenham legends were brought out at half-time, with Villa 3-1 up!
They went 4-1 up, and then we produced a stirring comeback, capped by Kaboul's goal in injury time. Wonderful.
kroblues - April 20, 2008 09:39 AM (GMT)
Stern John at Villa a few years back, 2-0 down then we equalise in the 94th minute :D
ML - ITFC - April 20, 2008 10:12 AM (GMT)
1 - 1 equaliser at Wolves in injury time yesterday, just about keeps us in playoff battle, although I think its too late now with Palaces win :(
Reppz - April 20, 2008 10:25 AM (GMT)
Coventry never get last minute goals so i can't comment
red_rose - April 20, 2008 11:52 AM (GMT)
We've had a few away from home this season.
At spurs, Bolton and Newcastle. All quality, cant beat last minute winners away from home.
Ched - April 20, 2008 12:22 PM (GMT)
Best
Clemence's winner against Forest earlier in the season to give us a 3-2 win. No better way to win a game against your local rivals!
Worst
To many to mention, we're the King of conceding last minute goals.

Brilliant moment though, wasn't it? I ended up from the back row down the front, with people jumping on top of me like madmen!
What was up with the metal detectors yesterday? Did they think we were all gonna be bringing in guns?
On topic, this is surely the best last-minute goal ever

SLIM - April 20, 2008 01:02 PM (GMT)
Milan away for this season, 85th min + 92nd min.
Lawnmower Man - April 20, 2008 02:01 PM (GMT)
Best:
- Southampton 4 Norwich 3 (Henri Camara 93) - was all for nothing in the end of course, but we didn't know that at the time
-Margate 3 Maidstone 4 (Andy Martin 92?) - Maiders back from 3-1 down. Back of the little terrace to the advertising boards in ten seconds flat B)
Worst:
The ones Southampton have conceded every couple of weeks for years now. With the exception of yesterday Maiders usually aren't that bad for last minute goals.
AndrewFFC - April 20, 2008 05:31 PM (GMT)
Too many this season against to think of one.
West ham was pretty crap after completly not deserving it.
Best which i went to was City at home.
NMFinest/FulhamFC - April 20, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
Two of my favourite moments following Fulham was when we won at Newcastle. Losing 1-0 with 5 minutes left only to turn it around and win 2-1. Also the same at Man City a couple of years ago. 1-0 down but we turned it around to win it in the 93rd minute.
From this season, would have to be Bullards 90th minute free kick away at Blackburn
LongtonLeeds - April 20, 2008 06:49 PM (GMT)
Too many to even name
Tranmere away 2-1 89th minute
Forest away 2-1 90th minute
Oldham away 1-0 95th minute
Southend 4-1 all in last 4 minutes
Hartlepool 1-1 90th minute
All this season :D:D Southampton away can be added. 3-0 down with 17 mins to go and scored the winner 86. Same with derby at home, 3-0 down and won it in injury time.
Milan home 1-0 91st minute. Good days good days. Wish i could experience them all again, mostly oldham though i think
nick the jack - April 21, 2008 09:39 AM (GMT)
Away to Carlisle last season just kept us in the play off hunt. Won 2-1, ended up jumping on the bloke in front of me.
albiontilidie - April 21, 2008 09:51 AM (GMT)
Our best one ever,
Villa away couple of years back
Robbo equaliser 1-1 was amazing
this season
shef wed away 96th minutte philips header 1-0
gooner1 - April 21, 2008 01:08 PM (GMT)
Wasn't there but don't think anything will EVER beat Anfield 89, wish I could have been there!
Best away from home in recent years from my experience would be Adeabyor at OT last season and WHL on a monday night when Vieira scored a last minute header. :D
BWA_Ultra - April 21, 2008 01:15 PM (GMT)
January 2006
89 minutes gone
Colchester 1 Forest 0
they equalised in the 90th minute, however we went down the other end and scored 2 really quickly to win 3-1!
Blackcountry Villa - April 21, 2008 01:24 PM (GMT)
Gabby's goal at Blues away this season, you saw how wild our end went when it went in, that said it all.
We've had the two best things happen in our games with Blues this season, beat them with a last minute goal and completely smashed them in the home game
piesandsalad - April 21, 2008 02:28 PM (GMT)
Best injury time goal for me is also one of my all time favourite footbal moments.
Away to Swindon last game before Christmas 2003. We are pushing around the top of the league (may even have been top at the time) whilst they are mid table ish (I think).
An early goal followed by another later in the game saw us entering the last 10 minutes 2-0 up. Swindon scored to make the nervous last few minutes. 90 minutes and the game is as good as over when Swindon equalise. Pain is not the word. I could not believe that we had thrown away two goals in the last ten minutes.
Next thing, one of their players gets sent off for a late challenge in our own half of the pitch. Our keeper kicks it long over the top and Marino Keith chases it down. We are in silence with Swindon fans in ecstasy singing "2-0 and you f**ked it up!".
Keith runs through and slots it in the bottom corner. Cue silence from the whole ground except the away end where mayhem broke out. Having gone from absolutely gutted to being on top of the world in the matter of about three minutes with a sending off in between we left the stadium in absolute joy singing "2-2 and you f**ked it up!".
I still replay that part of the season DVD and some Swindon fans are still singing as the ball crosses the line for our winner.
Love it!!

Bluenose87 - April 23, 2008 12:08 PM (GMT)
Manchester City at St Andrews 97-98 season
It's 0-0 and City score in the 89th minuite with a header at the Railway End (Cue City fans going nuts running to front of the Railway and jumping onto the fence)
Blues fans thinking it's not going to be they're day and are on there way out of Stans when we get a corner. Everyones up and the corner comes in and Nicky Forster heads it in after a scramble. 1-1 after 94 mintutes.
City are then on the attack but lose possession to Nicky forster who takes one on and then lays it into the path of Martin O'Connor who takes a shot from 20 yards out, it's parryed back into O'Connor who just places the shot into the bottom left hand corner of the net. The crowd goes nuts and 50 or 60 invade the pitch to celebrate.
After 97 minutes it's 2-1 Blues
Brilliant

No, it's usually first minute goals that are the problem!
...like in that Margate game. We conceded after 32 seconds! That winner is something I won't forget in a hurry, though. Because of the crowd surge, a mate of mine ended up the other side of those advertising boards.
I'll also add Harlow Town 1-2 Maidstone United. Ian Selley (ex-Arsenal don't you know!) scored in the 66th, we conceded a sloppy goal in the 69th, and then Mark Saunders scored in stoppage time, sparking the customary mental celebrations (crowd surge forward ducking under the crush barriers, random jumping around, then back up on the terrace for moshing to chants of "Let's go f*cking mental! Let's go f*cking mental! La la, la la!").
And who could forget Chelmsford City 1-2 Maidstone United? FA Trophy 1st Qual. Concede in the 5th, equalise in the 39th, and then in the 89th minute, Lynden Rowland loses his defender and shoots past the 'keeper from about 16 yards out. Again, we went f*cking mental, and then again a minute later when they missed a penalty (put it about 3 yards wide). Probably my favourite game of those that I have attended.
