Title: Question About Setanta?
purpleronnie - April 15, 2008 01:02 PM (GMT)
My Dad wants to get setanta, he has sky tv already. He also has sky multiroom, if he subscribed to setanta would he have to pay more to have it in another room? Or would the fact he already has sky multiroom mean he wouldnt have to pay extra?
thanks.

I hope he enjoys Woking v Farsley Celtic on a Thursday evening just as much as everyone else.
Also for those who don't know, all of the final fixtures have been moved in the past couple of weeks to 5:15 KO because Setanta want to show a live game. Those idiots who booked their train tickets in advance have no reason to complain...how did they not see this coming.
Forest Green have asked their fans to boycott I think, something like that.
(Not a dig at you purpleronnie, for once).

Can you buy individual matches on Setanta?
Don't want to subscribe.

£9.99 a month, no contract, but you cant buy individual matches. I've had it this season. Its alright, gives a bit of diverse footy, such as the Conference and European leagues you'd never normall see, but its not covered that well. I might get rid of it for next season. As much as I hate so much about SKY, they do an excellent job at live coverage.

My dads like me he's lost all interest in premiership football and likes non league and foreign matches.

I get it for free with Virgin Media and think its well worth money :D
Live Scottish games, live english games, live German games. Good SPL highlights package and good Bundesliga highlights aswell as decent shows like Football Matters and the occasional big boxing match. (i.e joe calzaghe on Saturday).
To answer the 1st question, yes it should recieve setanta in your 'multiroom' without paying anything extra. Well thats how Virgin works anyway...
