No introduction needed. Read and learn.

Short version - click to download a pdf version of the subsidiary document, the so-called "short" version, 4 pages.

Longer Version - click to download a pdf version of the main document, the so-called "long" version, 15 pages.

An excellent resource, easy to read and comprehensive.

Learned a lot from reading that, and demolishes contrary arguments.

If only everyone in the country had access to it and could be bothered to read it and understand it. Really well put together by two Liverpool fans, and very much needed. A must read.

That should be sent to every safety officer and every club in the country.

I've just got back from the Memorial Service at Anfield, it doesn't get any easier, surrounded by mates that lost their brothers and cousins. You'll Never Walk Alone - and we'll ALWAYS fight to dispel the horrible lies spread by south yorkshire police and the gutter press. Never Forgive - Never Forget

An excellent in-depth account of the events and the aftermath which should be analysed by anyone who talks about Hillsborough in the modern day debate about safe standing areas.
People may also be interested to read the article re-published on the Guardian website today. It was written on the Monday after the disaster and is an excellent and well-balanced account of the days events and those leading up to it, refreshingly in contrast to some of the much more well-publicised vile myths that were reported by certain tabloids.

Excellent. As above, I havnt read the longer one, but will do. There seem to be 2 major points to the story. firstly, that the poilce got it wrong, but as like so much in politics today, those in a position to critisise and punish would rather bottle it and sweep things under the carpet, or worse, blame those that are completely innocent, and secondly, this had nothing to do with the fact that these fans were standing, and if you think about it, how much worse might it have been had there been a load of plastic seats in the way?
