yorkiebarkid - March 13, 2008 04:08 PM (GMT)
Forgive me but boro have nothing much to play for at this time of the season

All of a sudden we get 2200 at £24 instead of our usual 12-1500 at £30 odd

we must of got safer then?

Yorkie, whatever the reasons don't knock 'em.

Still, that is an interesting turn around from Boro...

Shocked hell out of me that one. Me mate told me and I thought he was taking the piss. Allocation goes up and price comes down since we all sat down last season

Surprised by the prices. Theydid seem to have relaxed their stewarding regarding standing recently especially at the cup game last season where it seemed it was basically accepted our support would stand by the local authorities/stewards.

Indeed

the 2200 will be the 3k allocation with the first and last 3 seats not filled and the front two rows covered a bit like the cup game.

Basicaly saying - come and stand with your mates this is the easiest we can make it for you.

Have they got a new saftey officer as this looks like a serious step down over the past 12 months.

That's the allocation Newcastle had, and likewise, the end three seats in each block were empty.

AndrewFFC - March 14, 2008 12:32 AM (GMT)
Porbably because they cant charge you more then them, and if prices were highers not many people would go.

Danh1 - March 14, 2008 12:58 AM (GMT)
Not many people go anyway, and since when have football clubs considered that?

Utd 90210 - March 14, 2008 11:13 AM (GMT)
Fair play to 'boro on the price. We charged them a lot more at Old Trafford

Fair play to Boro on the price?
It's amazing how £24 has become considered as a cheap price in this country, let's not forgot that equates to roughly 35euros which is 25 more than in Germany!!

I don't consider it cheap as such but it's a lot cheaper (almost half the price in some cases!) than what we paid at many other aways so they deserve some credit for that and especially after what their fans had to pay at Old Trafford.

PaulChels - March 14, 2008 05:06 PM (GMT)
look what we have to pay £45 cheapest ticket for a member £50 for a non member - and that's lower tier behind the goals

noticed this year that United and Liverpool are rapidly catching up on us though

loads of people have just had enough and won't pay it
