It woke me up, doors shaking, I thought someone was trying to get it, then it stopped and I thought I had dreamt it. But it was real.

Got up and out onto the landing "what the f*cks this" I shouted thinking the roof was caving in.
Others in the house got up after the event and didn't feel anything. I went back to bed thinking I'd dreamt it.
Thought I was going mad till I got into work and everybody was going on about it

I felt it last night as well. Thought I was having nightmares at first and didn't really know what it was as I was half asleep. It was when my dad asked me whether I felt the shaking that I realised that it was an earthquake.
