Nope. Don't really have much of an opinion towards them. I was quite pleased to see them temporarily relegate Arsenal out of the top two, even if the means by which they did it weren't the most glorious.

Actually, I'm now thinking back to our absolutely appalling record against tem, and how great it was to beat them in the league cup in 2001 and in the league last season. That was brilliant. Okay, Chelsea are my number five.

How come York hate newcastle mate?

Would scarborough have been in your top 5 had they still existed?

Lawnmower Man - January 20, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
1. Gillingham/Portsmouth (the former more as a representation of that area of Kent as well as a couple of mildly unpleasant visits there, the latter self-explanatory)
2. Everton (those damn late goals every time we play them and their less than sporting reaction inside and outside the ground, specially after not singing all game...)
3. Derby (playoffs last season)
4. Palace (penultimate game of our relegation season, antipathy was already kind of latent from Millwall supporting relatives - weirdly I don't have any feelings either way towards West Ham)

But yeah, hate is probably a bit strong. I'm a very easygoing "Cain't we just all git along?" kind of chap and have mates from school that support Gillingham, mate's boyfriend is a Pompey fan and a sound bloke, had a good laugh with a couple of Everton fans I met on a trip to Amsterdam (was loads there as it was just after they played AZ), that kind of thing.

My list is just personal mate! I don't like Newcastle cos...obvious reasons really. I'd hate Leeds wherever I lived as well...I'm not claiming there to be any rivalry or anything (I'm sure you knew that though).

We're one of these clubs who doesn't actually have a traditional rival, over the years it's been the likes of Darlington, Hull, Bury, Hartlepool, Grimsby, Doncaster, Ssalmonhorpe and recently Halifax is probably as close as it gets.

There are mixed views on Scarborough, they don't particularly like us but they mean as much to me as Harrogate Town really and same with a lot of City fans. Obviously there is a bit of local rivalry (40 miles!) but it doesn't have any hatred.

There was a discussion on our forum recently about old traditional boxing day games against Hull and Burnley and now we're playing trouting Droylsden who brought 60 fans I think! Also see Donny beat Leeds today...they were in our position a few years ago. :(

Not really, we'd probably have a rivalry akin to north London but they've been in divisions below us for 40 odd years, no chance to create the hate. Well they hate us that's for sure, for being in our shadow their entire existence. Even with Best and Moore we beat you 2-0 :D

AndrewFFC - January 20, 2008 01:45 PM (GMT)
They say that, most dont have a problem Ive chatted to quiet a few on the tube, but for the last couple of season theyve sent a mob out to target some pubs, when fulham arent interested in that.
