Title: Liverpool Away
Description: Need some info
Blackcountry Villa - January 13, 2008 08:08 PM (GMT)
Can anyone tell me whether Liverpool are strict or not when it comes to letting people in with kid's tickets?! I've been before several times but always with the ticket i was meant to have, however as it's on a Monday night next week and it's £36 theres no way i'm paying that so i was going to get a kid's ticket which is only £18. Don't really fancy travelling up there on a Monday night then the fcukers turn me away though

If you read on www.footballgroundguide.co.uk on the Anfield section it seems they are pretty strict about this sort of thing

They wont turn you away, at worst you'll be asked to upgrade.

I'd never risk it for an away match...would be a proper mission if I got turned away!
If you're called on it, try to make out as if your mate distributed a set of tickets amongst a group of few and must have given you the wrong one. And then offer to pay for an upgrade.
Either that or pretend you're a kid (no idea how old you are so might be an option )

You should be ok with a kids ticket at Anfield, but I can't speak from experience having never tried to get in the away end with one.
But I do know loads of lads that had the adult / child STs, and were going in on kids STs when well into their 20's.
Just buy one, worst that will happen is you'll have to walk around to the Ticket Office and upgrade it.
Just play dumb and say you've just bought it for £36 off a lad on the coach, didn't know, then ask if you can upgrade it if stopped. Worth a go.

I'm 20 and get a kids ticket for every away. I got in the home end at a ground here for £5 this season after getting lobbed out the away end. They really dont care.
Youthful good looks asc  :ph43r:

Really? Did you rub the red J off as well? Suprised at that I thought it was a piece of piss to get away with it at our place.
I managed to get in the cov game the other week paying a quid.
