A coach carrying Valencia fans to Pamplona at the weekend for the game against Osasuna was found to be armed with many weapons including knives, baseball bats, explosives and flares. The Ultra group of Valencia called "Yomus" have been blamed for violence outside the Osasuna stadium before the game.

They sound a cheerful bunch

Three of the Valencia fans have been charged with disturbances outside the Osasuna Stadium and been fined 15,000 Euros! Also 2 year ban from any sporting venue.

ALL the other fans on the coach have been fined 12,000 euros each (a years wages in Spain!) and banned for two years as well. As no-one owned up to possesing the weapons so they have charged everyone. Blimey, is that the biggest "mass" fine in history for football fans?

Yes it is more or less. I work and live in Tenerife and earn 1,000 euros a month and I am manager of a Clothes Store! Maybe a tad more in the mainland the wages but average is around 12,000-14,000 euros a year.

So I will have to cut back on my football violence with all these fines knocking about :D :lol:
