Right I've got a tricky situation on my hands this Saturday.

I bought my girlfriend 2 tickets to go and watch Maroon 5 at the NEC on Saturday as a birthday prezzie, I was intending to go with her but until I found out we were playing Tamworth away on the same day!

Now I told her to take her mate with her instead of me so we both would be happy, she sees the gig and I go to football, but she insists that I go with her because I bought the tickets, now like i say i was gunna go anyway (I do like a few of thier songs) but I'd much perfer to go to football and I'm not bothered about her mate going even if I have paid the for the tickets...

What should I do? The gig is only at 8pm so I could go to Tamworth and get the train back to Birmingham in time with it being only an hour trip but then what does the girlfriend do while im at football? (Shes not coming cos I don't want her there and she wouldnt wanna come anyway) Do I risk going or just spend the day how she wants cos' afterall it is her birthday present? we're stopping over in Birmingham for the night too so I told her we'll make up for lost time but she aint havin' it!

Yeah I know, anyother time it would be but as I bought them for her as a birthday present then yanno I can't just feck off! Although I told her I'll give her 50 quid and fook off for the day in Tamworth so might all work out in the end. Shes not got back to me on that one, ethier way its gunna be an expensive weekend!

I'd pay to turn up and clean tamworth's boots rather than watch maroon 5 :lol:
