Title: Lancs v Mancs derby shocking crowd

Can any City or Blackburn fans tell me why the crowd was so poor for this 'derby' game. I see just over 18,000 bothered to turn up for this. Was Citys allocation cut ? Where the prices at Chelsea value? Are the teams just cr@p to watch ? If Blackburn get this for City what about if they had Watford on a cold January night ? 12,000 if there lucky.

Because the tickets were £38 and City fans are voting with their feet, as are other fans. The games dying as we predicted on here time ago. The atmospheres shit and people are watching it in the pub.

£38?!

Was told at the weekend that Chelsea are charging away fans upto £62. **** that!

I it's a joke we went there twice in 2 weeks last season.

CC semi final £25

League game £38

It was embarrasing yesterday not only was the attendance disgraceful but the atmosphere was absolutely shocking. I can't see attendances improving our first saturday 3 oclock kick off this season is in november.
I'm thinking about not getting a season ticket next year and just going away games. I'll hopefully be able to afford all aways then.

So it's not just us that are getting ripped off!!

In a way it's good to see that fans are taking a stand and saying enough is enough.

Bristol City have also had trouble, as have Bristol Rovers and many see high prices of over £20 for a ticket for City as too much (and I believe Rovers tickets in the league below are still well over a tenner for terrace tickets behind the goal).
