Amanda, don't know if you have already posted on here but; a really good site to post is on the message board of Football Ground Guide. Brilliant site and message board about footy grounds, i've read a few posts on there and many of the members really want Standing back. They have a lot of members on there as well.

Also a lot on there about Atmosphere, Stewards and the like. Many comments about how grounds Atmosphere have gone downhill sinse all-seater.

I'm aware of the site, but never actually posted on there.

Will contact their site admin and see if I can get something on there.

All this work, and so little time ;-)

Its a good site to post on and i've even seen some people who have posted on here on there.

Don't worry about it, it'll all be worth it in the end ;) .

Everybody feel free to email the admin of that site and ask what they think of a SUSD banner being put up as tbh I'm fed up of trying

Just registered on the site and will post about SUSD.

Will post here again when I get feed back.

Also just posted on a Town forum. I hope the Blue Army will join!

Amanda - September 18, 2006 07:25 PM (GMT)
Great stuff, thanks very much!

Getting some positive replies, but one was worried about Hillsborough and I told him it was more a case of the bad policing, fences and poor terrace control. Some also don't belive the authorities will change there mind <_< .

Amanda - September 18, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
Can I have a link, please?

ML - ITFC - September 18, 2006 07:57 PM (GMT)
This is link to Tractor-Boys.com forum - http://tractor-boys.com/forum/

ML - ITFC - September 18, 2006 07:58 PM (GMT)
Or did you want the actual conversation??

ML - ITFC - September 18, 2006 08:06 PM (GMT)
Haha cheers Amanda for post on Town Forum, just read it. You can probably explain it better to them than me.

ML - ITFC - September 18, 2006 09:09 PM (GMT)
Its hard persuading some Town fans, one is still quoting Hillsborough although I said it wasn't to do with terracing.

Amanda - September 18, 2006 09:24 PM (GMT)
That is the trouble though.. people just think "Hillsborough" and think that is the be all and end all.

We'll get there and I do like the debate!

ML - ITFC - September 18, 2006 09:28 PM (GMT)
Haha ye, i'm sure there are plenty of Town fans that agree with us because they stand in the Lower North every home game.

ML - ITFC - September 19, 2006 06:34 PM (GMT)
More possitive replies from the Town Forum, more in favour of standing and also comments about how stewards handle away standing.

Amanda - September 19, 2006 06:38 PM (GMT)
Yep, and some new members from Ipswich as well so thanks again.

Have you seen the protest thread?

ML - ITFC - September 19, 2006 06:40 PM (GMT)
Erm not really yet will have a look now.

ML - ITFC - September 21, 2006 09:36 PM (GMT)
Another one I hopefully will post on is Football Anglia Forums. Has got a forum for each main Footy Club in East Anglia i.e. Ipswich, Norwich, Colchester and Southend. Will try 2morrow.

ML - ITFC - September 21, 2006 09:39 PM (GMT)
Anyone else getting anywhere with their teams forum???

ML - ITFC - September 22, 2006 07:55 PM (GMT)
Some good, positive replies from Col U supporters on Football Anglia. They agree there should be safe standing.

ML - ITFC - September 23, 2006 07:54 PM (GMT)
Norwich supporters also very positive, cheers to all of them that have petitioned etc.
