Standupandsing - September 29, 2007 12:09 PM (GMT)

I'm not ar$ed about losing to Leicester now because we'd have gone out against Chelsea anyway, plus i'll be saving some money
nw7 yid - September 29, 2007 04:07 PM (GMT)
Big clubs have all got suspiciously easy ties. Can see West Ham stuggling away to Coventry, but it looks set to be a very strong quarter final.
I can't really be anything but pleased with a home tie against Blackpool, but we've screwed up against far poorer opposition in the recent past, so I'm not taking anything for granted.

It could be a tricky tie for us, especially since we can't seem to score goals lately against worthwhile opposition. And our defence is looking a little shaky too. It could be the best chance to beat us.
purpleronnie - September 29, 2007 05:06 PM (GMT)
Has to be one of the worst draws ever, not one decent tie. I guess sheff utd might have a chance against arsenal reserves.

Yes gutted here, absolutely gutted we don't have to play West Ham at home. Gutted that instead of watching the reserves for free at Hyde we'd have to have paid between £19 - £30 odd to watch them.
Gutted completely and utterly gutted.

Seeing our "future" limp out against lower league opposition without much more than a whimper was not good, but because how how the academy is operated these days not to surprising.
However, I've yet to meet a red who was disappointed about the potential to be forced into going to another home game weather they want to or not.

Not going to lie and say I wasn't dissapointed leaving a united match having lost, but I couldnt be more relieved and delighted knowing that I wont have to pay £25 again this season to watch united reserves...........well it'll probably happen again in the FA cup. please please anyone away.

That pretty much says what I think. Was gutted to loose but also happy that I don't have to pay 30 sheets to watch pur reserves again.

Well you know you'll get us it's just whether it will be at home or away, they should just start the draw by saying 'right first up we've got Man Utd and Villa, we know they'll draw each other so lets just see who comes out first and whos at home out of the two'

I think i made my feelings on the matter clear before the game even kicked off in the thread entitled "Utd v Coventry"
