Title: Oh Crap Go To Go And Watch England At Wembley!

My Dad wants to see the new stadium and has booked 2 tickets at 50 quid a pop (yes I have to pay for mine). I was looking forward to going back to england (I go back october 1st).

I guess it will be ok watching an england match inside the new wembley, never seen a full international.

Have to say I don't really watch england matches I think I'm mentally scarred from watching them fail so often. lol.

My Dad was going to buy them in the 'singing section' but decided against it but I'm taking my ipod so if I hear england fans singing the national anthem over and I'll put my headphones on.

Anyway I'm on level one block 113 which is in the corner, anyone know if the seats are ok, the only other ones were up in the god's.

Singing section? don't make me laugh! That area will be full of numpties who think sitting there clapping along to the bands rendition of the Great escape and the odd Ingerland chant constitues a great atmosphere.

It'll be a sea of jester hats and face paint, not to mention the odd Shrek doll.

All you'll hear all match will be the Germans, prepare for English football fans to be embarressed once again. I can't remember the last time England fans outsung the opposition. Even the likes of Macedonia used to outsing the England fans at OT with less than 500 fans. Mention that to England fans though, and all you get is "what are you on about? our support is the best in the world, look at how many fans we take abroad bla bla bla"

 :( I don't know whether to laugh or cry, its so true. Mind you, its better abroad than at home, at least there are a greater number of real england fans abroad.

Yeah unfortunately those 'real' english fans have to get their tickets through various dodgy means thanks the our sweet FA.

Unlike in most countries where these 'real' fans are encouraged in england they are denied.

Here in the US the national team has a supporters group called 'sams army' who are like an ultra group for the national team and they are given there own section of a ground where they stand and sing, wave flags make banners, throw streamers etc etc...
