Myself and supporters from other clubs are looking at forming an amateur football league consisting of supporters from other clubs. The target is for the league to start in 2009.But what we want is for supporters to build thier teams on their own and put them in a local league for a year. Then they will have the experiance of running i team.
If you know any one who is intrested please mail us at failsworthtown@excite.com
The man city teams going to be called REAL MANCITY F.C. and others are in place. this will take time and a lot of support from experianced people in amateur football.
If you and your fellow clubs fans are intrested please listen to us and get people who are already involved in amateur football.
The League could look like this.(not in any order)
York City Knights
Real Mancity
Burnley Clarets
Liverpool Livers
Everton Blues
West Ham Irons
Spurs Cockerals
Pompey Pirates
Man United Devils
Birmingham Zulus
Aston Villians
Preston Rams

Why would it be 'Preston Rams' when their nickname is Lilywhites etc?
You may wish to contact both the Bristol City and Bristol Rovers forum football teams as each year for they play each other for charity and normally raise thousands of pounds.
City forum is www.otib.co.uk (otib=one team in bristol) and Bristol Rovers forum is www.brfcforum.co.uk.
