Gene hunt is the best TV character ever, that show was just what is needed in an overly PC world.
I'm no fan of the yanks but the one thing they spank us at is making quality drama.
Life on Mars is the only thing since Cracker for me which can compete with them.

Brilliant actor and his character is brilliant + hilarious. True, we need characters like him in this PC mad country.
I think Gene's best quote is "its as fake as a trannys fanny".
